To start Workview Office, select the Workview Office icon from the Workview Office program group under the Programs menu. See the next figure.
This executable is placed in the StartUp group and launches at the start of each Windows session. Executing this program opens the Workview Office toolbar. See the figure that follows.
Figure 8.1 Workview Office Toolbar |
The Workview Office Toolbar contains icons for all the Windows-based programs in the Workview Office toolset. You can customize the toolbar by selecting the Workview Office icon (farthest to the left). You can add and remove programs as well as change the order.
Viewlogic windows conform to Windows 95/NT standards. You need to know how to move, close, and minimize (or iconize) these windows. Wit multiple windows open, the active window has a blue border and inactive windows a grey border. For more information on Workview Office operation, refer to the Viewlogic documentation.
Use the Viewlogic Project Manager to define the current project location and the libraries used in that project. Saving a project creates a .vpj file. This file does not have to reside in the project directory, so you can create a central project directory to store the definitions of all your projects.
