The web installation of Active-VHDL is divided into several modules - the main part and the vendor specific modules. This should allow you to download only the components which you plan to use.

The MAIN part installs Active-VHDL base software, on-line documentation and release notes.

The vendor specific libraries must be downloaded and installed separately. Each vendor kit includes required libraries and sample designs.

NOTE:  All files are self-extracting installation programs that automatically install to the appropriate directory.
