Macrocell Details

Macrocell details are obtained by double-clicking on the macrocell you want to examine. A new window will appear with three parts: a column of input signals, a schematic representation of the macrocell, and list of all equations used in the macrocell.

Title Bar

The title bar displays the macrocell and the power mode for this macrocell. The mnemonics MCf_m (in this case MC1_4) describe the specific macrocell you are viewing, where f is the function block and m is the macrocell.

List of Input Signals

On the far left column is a list of the input signals. If there are more signals than room in the column can display, a scroll bar will appear so you can examine the entire list.

List of Implemented Equations

At the bottom of the window is a display of every equation implemented in the macrocell. Scroll bars are included if the equations exceed size of the display. For large equations it is a good idea to enlarge the window size.

Macrocell Schematic

The macrocell schematic shows the current macrocell you are viewing. If signals from the macrocell go to another macrocell, you can follow the signal along by placing the cursor over signal name and double-clicking. The macrocell where the signal goes will then be displayed. See Following a Signal Path.

Note: If the cursor does not transform into a hand when placed over a signal name, double-clicking will not accomplish anything.
